VW Scirocco R
Scirocco is a two door hatchback which was first introduced some 25 years ago. Two years ago VW decided to bring back to life this legend by making a brand new model, carrying the same name. Well the pinnacle comes with the Scirocco R which is the most powerful, the most demanding and the best handling hatchback VW currently makes. The automobile looks absolutely fabulous. The front bumper has huge air intake vents and integrated LED lights. On the back the nice spoiler and the two exhaust tips make the car look and sound very sporty. The 20” wheels with sport tyres contribute even more to the overall sexy look of the car. The base colour for this baby is deep blue, but you can specify a different colour if you want to show off in front of your Enigin. The interior is very nicely put together. It has a great layout and it if very functional. You get a navigation system, DVD, voice commands, Bluetooth and every gizmo and gadget you can think of. The front seats are very comfortable and very supportive. On the back there is room for two, however they most certainly will be very uncomfortable. The most significant thing in the Scirocco R is its engine. The 2litre TFSI comes from Audi S3. It produces 265bhp and 350Nm of torque. The huge turbo allows the car to accelerate form 0 to 60 mph for less than 6 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph. here are two transmission options. A six speeds manual or VW’s own dual wet clutch automated gearbox – the DSG. Despite the rumours the car doesn’t have a four wheel drive system, or the so called 4motion. Nevertheless it has a complicated front locking differential with sophisticated electronic control.
